
The ACiMA Laboratory (Applied Multimedia and Virtual Environments Laboratory - ABoVE) started activities in 2003, moving to the new building in September 2004. The laboratory aims at developing research projects in Collaborative Virtual Environments and Applied Multimedia. The lab is about to have a CAVE environments, which is currently under development.
This lab belongs to the Computer Science Department of the National Laboratory for Scientific Computation - a research lab which belongs to the Brazilian Ministry of science and Technology.
